Largest amusement park in Latin America
Six Flags Mexico is part of the chain of amusement parks owned by the American conglomerate Six Flags, Inc. and is the only one operating in Latin America. The amusement park is situated in the Tlalpan forest and borough and is considered to be the largest amusement park in all of Latin America.
Six Flags Mexico was previously known as “Reino Aventura” and opened its doors to the public in 1982. Aside from the thrilling roller coasters and exciting rides, its previous attractions included the orca whale Keiko that was featured in the movie Free Willy.
