Lucky charm of the Riviera

Settled on the craggy shore of the Mediterranean Sea, between enchanting French medieval villages and the ski trails of the Alps, Monte Carlo is an exclusive destination, by no means a place for a budget holiday. Monte Carlo is the ideal place to “hide” your expensive yacht, or to take your Ferrari for a spin without drawing too much attention. The city welcomes you with fine arts, culture, outstanding cuisine, and high-adrenaline activities like the Formula One Grand Prix, casino gaming, land and water sports and exciting nightlife.

The Museum of Stamps and Coins

Stamps and coins from way back when

Stay Editor's Note

The Museum of Stamps and Coins is a modern museum that houses rare philatelic specimens from the postal history of the Monaco. Visitors can see stamp printing artifacts, as well as a massive coin and bank note collection.

Postal history in Monaco can be traced to the principality’s first postmark back in 1704. The museum is a great place for a quick stopover while taking in Monte Carlo’s many other famous sites. Kids in particular will be fascinated with some of the stamps and coins on display.
