Lucky charm of the Riviera

Settled on the craggy shore of the Mediterranean Sea, between enchanting French medieval villages and the ski trails of the Alps, Monte Carlo is an exclusive destination, by no means a place for a budget holiday. Monte Carlo is the ideal place to “hide” your expensive yacht, or to take your Ferrari for a spin without drawing too much attention. The city welcomes you with fine arts, culture, outstanding cuisine, and high-adrenaline activities like the Formula One Grand Prix, casino gaming, land and water sports and exciting nightlife.

Monaco Naval Museum

A legacy of modeling and from the sea

Stay Editor's Note

The Monaco Naval Museum is a unique repository of more than 250 naval and maritime artifacts and models. The exhibits here include everything from boats to oceanographic instruments, yachts, and everything in between. There are also important items of the collection of Prince Rainier II of Monaco.

The Monaco Naval Museum is situated on Les Terrasses de Fontvieille. The museum is a great place to introduce kids to the wonder of model boats and ships, as the scale versions here are extraordinary in every detail.
