Honoring the evolution of country music
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum identifies and preserves the evolving history of country music. The artfully designed 2001 museum displays a collection of historical costumes, memorabilia, instruments, photographs, manuscripts and other objects which tell the story of country music.
Located on the west bank of the Cumberland River, just a few steps from the historic Ryman Auditorium and the honky-tonks of Lower Broadway, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum features the Hall of Fame Rotunda, where recipients' bronze plaques are displayed for future generations to honor and enjoy.
