Paris Art Galleries
A trip through art history
Paris's superb national art galleries will take you through the entire history of western art, but the city also has more intimate collections to discover, sometimes in the studios of artists, such as Rodin, Zadkine and Moreau, who lived in the city. Major temporary exhibitions range from challenging multidisciplinary contemporary shows at the Palais de Tokyo to crowdpullers at the Grand Palais, while commercial galleries cluster in the Marais and in St-Germain-des-Prés.
