A state of the art theater venue
La Geode is an incredible futuristic structure that is truly a sight to behold. It is an Omnimax theater located in the Parc de la Villette that opened in 1985. This amazing large metallic sphere has a diameter of 36 meters and houses a movie theater with a 1000 m2 hemispheric screen.
LA Geode offers both adults and children a large variety of films from which to choose. Films last about 40 minutes, and feature topics on nature, space and journeys and more. The technology used at this cinema conveys the feeling of actually being in the middle of all the action.
