Paris Shopping
Shops for all styles
Despite the encroachment of worldwide brands, the true pleasure of shopping in Paris is its small individual boutiques. Each area has its speciality: high fashion on avenue Montaigne and in St-Germain, rising names in the Marais, boho young designers and streetwise clothes in Montmartre and the Bastille. Modern design and antiques dealers cluster around St-Germain. For gourmet souvenirs, check out local food markets and the food shops of rue Cler in the 7th arrondissement and rue des Martyrs in the 9th.
