Antiques and bric-a-brac galore
Europe’s biggest flea market is an addictive mix of junk and treasures. The hub of the Puces de Saint-Ouen (also known as the Puces de Clignancourt) is rue des Rosiers, where thousands of dealers are spread out over a dozen arcades.
Try Serpette and Paul Bert for art deco, garden furniture and modern design classics, Biron for period furniture, Vernaisson and Malassis for collectables and memorabilia. Bargaining is part of the fun, but don’t expect to get prices down much.
