Phoenix loves art, and the best display you’ll find at its newly constructed and award winning Mesa Arts Center, which features, among others, contemporary art displays and studios. But the best time to visit Phoenix art galleries is every first Friday evening of each month, when you can take a free tour of downtown Phoenix galleries, studios and art spaces. If you don’t catch this event, don’t keep your distance. Some art galleries do charge entrance fees, but the experience is worth every penny.
