Oregon's Most Visited Site
Located at the heart of downtown Portland, Pioneer Courthouse Square is dubbed as the city’s “living room.” A record-breaking 26,000 visitors everyday and thousands more passing by daily, this attraction has been the most single most visited site in Oregon.
Pioneer Courthouse Square is one of Portland’s leading outdoor venues, hosting over 300 events each year that range from large-scale concerts to cultural festivals. The Square is also a remarkable symbol of Portland. Notable features of the park are a cascading waterfall fountain, chess boards and the Weather Machine, sculptures and art elements surround the square including Kvinneakt, the bronze statue of a nude woman that’s otherwise known as the “Expose Yourself to Art”.
