A local winery revealed
Located on La Butte inside Champoeg State Park, Champoeg Wine Cellars is a local vineyard established in 1978. The winery offers up tasting events scheduled throughout the year to the public.
Sampling these fine wines has become something of a tradition for wine and food enthusiasts in and around Portland, but visitors to the area may find the vineyards a pleasant surprise. Not so many know of the fine local wines.
Tours and tasting is free too, which makes the attraction even more popular. Of course you can also purchase your favorite wines to take home too.
