Chapeau Rouge is located on the site where until 1913 the “U Štupartů” house (also called “Devil’s pub” by clever locals) stood from times when the Kingdom of Bohemia was the centre of the Holy Roman Empire.
New energy has gone into booking, with live acts like the Mobydicks and the Rocket Dogs and wacky contests sponsored by the Reflex magazine Cannabis Cup filling out the programme. Note that the name and hours change regularly.
