Modern meets traditional in grand old Prague

Whilst many European cities have gradually modernised and adapted a 21st century look, Prague excels as changing with the times whilst remaining postcard old-beautiful. Strolling around you get a sense of Prague’s rich and troubled history, but the café culture of old meets the new cosmopolitan desire to embrace the weekend-away spirit. As for shopping, you can still unearth beautiful craftsmanship and wonderful jewellery.

Houseboat music bar

Stay Editor's Note

This rollicking houseboat hosts dance parties with locally respected DJs like Braun, and other purveyors of acid-jazz, lounge and groove, with refreshing river breezes on deck. It’s under the Palackého bridge near the Botel Admiral.
