Museum and concert hall
The House of Blackheads was one of the most popular Riga attractions during the middle ages. During World War II it was nearly completely destroyed but has since been completely reconstructed.
People who were Blackheads were usually unmarried young merchants and sailors from Hansa cities. The House of Blackheads was the place where all of the Blackheads of the region gathered to have a good time; it was kind of like a brotherhood.
Today, The House of Blackheads has been transformed into a museum and concert hall. There is also a small romantic café located here where you can grab a snack.
