The first "pitless" digital dome planetarium in the USA
Clark Planetarium opened in 2003, replacing the historic Hansen Planetarium which is today the O.C. Tanner Company Headquarters. The planetarium provides science education to over 75,000 Utah children and teachers each year.
Clark Planetarium continues the tradition of the Hansen Planetarium by producing full dome shows for planetariums worldwide. Visitors can enjoy exhibitions including audio-kinetic sculptures, a Foucault pendulum, Earth Globe, meteorites, telescope displays, and more. The planetarium’s Hansen Dome Theater seats 205 and features individual interactive seat button controls.
