A bird paradise
Tracy Aviary at Liberty Park is home to 400 birds representing about 135 species, some of which are considered rare and endangered. The aviary spreads over 8 acres of land, and boasts different bird habitats found north and south along the Western Hemispheric Flyway.
Tracy Aviary’s most popular feature is the flamingo pond, featuring a flock of the elegant birds, alongside other species such as white-faced whistling ducks and Chileon wigeons. The aviary features other interesting habitats, such as bald and golden eagle habitat, aviaries with tropical birds, owl species ranging from the very small to the very large and much more.
