Water fun in a historical palace
Commissioned as a country residence by Prince Archbishop Markus Sittikus von Hohenems in the beginning of the 17th century, Hellbrunn Palace is located at the foot of Hellbrunn Mountains, in lovely natural surroundings.
Water was the main element of the design and Wasserspiele (Trick fountains) are a favorite attraction for visitors from all over the world. A folklore museum and the oldest open air theater in Europe are also located in the palace complex.
The 20 minutes palace tours includes beautiful ballrooms and lovely gardens. Trick fountain tours last for 40 minutes. Guided tours are available every half hour.
