Remember the Alamo

The cradle of Texan liberty, San Antonio is more than a historic city. It boasts some of the nation’s finest museums, great amusement parks, fine dining, and lively pubs and bars. Add to your San Antonio travel guide the Majestic Theatre and other of the city’s cultural highlights. If you like to see the city at its liveliest, San Antonio is best visited in February, when they hold the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, or in late April, for a a 10-day, city-wide, fun-filled, multi-cultural, family-oriented fiesta.

North Star Mall

Luxury since when

Stay Editor's Note

The city’s most prestigious mall has been around for a while. North Star Mall has stood the test of time, having had many face lifts since its heyday. But the 200 award winning stores here attest to San Antonio’s love affair with luxury brands. Expect only the best, from Saks to Macy’s and beyond.

The giant cowboy boots outside North Star Mall pretty much say it all - this is a huge shopping experience. The classic mall layout on two levels houses anything and everything a shopper’s heart could desire, and in style too. Dine at fine restaurants, or get those nails done smartly, its no wonder this place has been around so long.

Situated right next to the airport, the mall should be convenient for your stay too.
