Remember the Alamo

The cradle of Texan liberty, San Antonio is more than a historic city. It boasts some of the nation’s finest museums, great amusement parks, fine dining, and lively pubs and bars. The Majestic Theatre is only the beginning of the city’s cultural highlights. If you want to see the city at its liveliest, San Antonio is best in February, when the temperature is as cool as the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. Or better yet, go in late April, for a a 10-day city-wide, fun-filled, multi-cultural, family-oriented fiesta.

Crossroads Mall

A shopping and film fix

Stay Editor's Note

Crossroads Mall offers the standard mall shopping experience and a bit more. Aside the great shops from Dillard’s to the ever popular Coat Factory Outlet there, the theater here offers films the big multiplexes don’t even think about showing. Expect a super food court here too.

Bargain hunters flock to the outlet stores situated at Crossroads Mall, but Macy’s and the other stores can’t hold a candle to the little specialty shops. So during your visit to San Antonio, be sure to take a look here for your shopping fix.
