No San Francisco attractions is more famous than the Golden Gate Bridge. Its image instantly evokes the aural memory of Tony Bennett crooning “I Lost My Heart in San Francisco.” But attractions like former prison Alcatraz, bustling Fisherman’s Wharf, the elegant Palace of Fine Arts, and the red and gold cable cars chugging up and down Nob Hill all make the city one of the world’s premier tourist destinations.
