Japanese garden modeled after Korakuen Park in Okayama
The Japanese Friendship Garden is a walled section of Kelley Park, opened in 1965, as a place of relaxation for the local community in San Jose. The garden features beautifully manicured greenery, exotic koi fish and other typical Japanese elements.
Visitors at the Japanese Friendship Garden can feed the fish, with special food available at the park’s two feeding stations. The garden is a popular wedding venue as well.
