The best (and most expensive) San Jose health and beauty parlors are found inside the city’s most exclusive hotels and resorts, but there enough salons offering less expensive services around town as well. Most locals prefer San Jose’s gyms, 24-hours fitness centers, and parks to train, but there are good opportunities for active pursuits in the country side too. For hair and nail care you’ll find a suitable salon everywhere in the city - make sure you make an appointment though, these places tend to be over-booked.
