Parque da Aclimação

Get away from the crowd here

Stay Editor's Note

Parque da Aclimação , formerly a garden, was acquired by the Carlos Botelho family back in 1939. The green space citizens enjoy now is the result of a a reformation by Figueiredo Ferraz. Beautiful flowerbeds, a rejuvenated lake and port, and playgrounds for kids awaits your visit.

Even though this park has received a face lift, it still does not get the attention it deserves. Situated in a near perfect location, the park probably should receive more than the seven thousand visits it does on the weekends. But to be brutally honest, it is not as safe, nor as pretty and a maintained place as it could be. Still, it is a great place to get away from the metropolis and crowds.
