This is exactly the type of Savannah entertainment that attracts hundreds in Forsyth Park, to see the Savannah Symphony Orchestra. If you visit Savannah in September, the Savannah Jazz Festival occupies all the headlines, and if music is not your thing, perhaps the Savannah Theatre, with its program of contemporary plays, will do? The list wouldn’t be complete without the St. Patrick’s Day festival, the city’s largest annual celebration and the second largest St. Patrick’s Day event in the United States, when they green the waters of the Fountain at Forsyth Park.
