Exhibition of Savannah's rich history
The Savannah History Museum offers exhibits surrounding the rich history of Savannah, as well as other objects and artifacts. Kids and grown ups alike can share in the fascinating legacy this great Southern town has left. Even Forrest Gump’s park bench is here.
See a superb example of a steam locomotive from the Central of Georgia Railroad, or look on a natural history exhibit form the a place time almost forgot. There’s even a collection of evening gowns from the 1800’s to the 1960’s.
