Starbucks world headquarters
There are many legendary businesses located in and around Seattle - Starbucks is one of them, and perhaps the best known worldwide. The Starbucks Center - world headquarters - can be found in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood.
The building housing the Starbucks Center is an imposing 1912 landmark, erected by the Union Pacific Railroad to lure Sears, Roebuck to Seattle. The building was sold in 1987, when Sears catalog closed. It was later redeveloped as Sodo Center. Today, Starbucks is its main tenant.
