To get the most out of your Shanghai shopping experience, we recommend checking out such local favorites as; Henglong Plaza, Huaihai Zhong Lu Shopping Street, and especially Yuyuan Bazaar for your cheap souvenirs. If it's a complete experience you want, Shanghai Shangcheng or Three on the Bund are your best bets. You might also want to follow the locals over to the Fabric Market, or perhaps the Suzhou Cobblers for some traditional footwear.
