Begin visiting Singapore’s museums in the city’s colonial core Riverside, where you’ll find one of the newest, largest and best-presented museums: the Asian Civilisations Museum. The Peranakan Museum, in the same district, is one of the most interesting in Singapore, featuring Peranakan weddings, religion and food. A small, but very good museum is Reflections at Bukit Chandu, not far from the Southern Ridges Walk. Another must see is the National Museum of Singapore, which recently expanded to more than twice its original size.
