Downtown's park
St. Louis' Gateway Mall is bordered by Market and Chestnut Streets. The mall is an open green space used primarily for town events and as a retreat from the work day. Future remodeling plans are in store for the mall; with hopes of encompassing the many downtown locations into one mall area.
Features within the Gateway Mall include: Kiener Plaza, Serra Sculpture Garden and Citygarden. The Civil Court building makes up the block from 7th Street to Tucker. Buildings nearby include the Old Courthouse, Busch Stadium, Peabody Opera House and the Central Library.
