Contemporary exhibits dominate the Toronto art galleries circuit, from the showrooms of West Queen West and the Distillery District to the lakefront’s mighty Power Plant. Every May, Toronto hosts CONTACT (www.contactphoto.com), a month-long, citywide photography festival. In early October, crowds of 400,000 or more come out for an all-night art party called Nuit Blanche.
