A Caribbean classic
The Real Jerk is real hard to miss: its exterior is painted dayglo yellow and red. The decor inside is so bright it seems to vibrate, or perhaps that’s the bass thump from the island tunes that play from open to close. No matter, the place is routinely named Toronto’s No. 1 Caribbean restaurant.
The menu is enormous, spanning curried goat, oxtail, roti, vegetarian dishes and, of course, jerk chicken, pork, ribs, fish and shrimp.
