As a professional chef I love to taste, try and explore good food and food places. I develop and write new recipes for my own cookbooks (Lekker Hollands and Hollandse Kramen) but also for magazines, supermarkets and commercial products. Foodstyling and cooking on locations is also part of my job.
Amsterdam is a true food haven for a chef. The Dutch capital offers great markets, lovely coffee and lunch rooms, great cafes and true fine dining. I've selected my favorite spots to suit every budget.
