Live, breathe, eat Vancouver

Consistently voted among the best cities in the world to live in, Vancouver is visually stunning, from its snow-capped mountains and sandy beaches on the edge of Pacific waters. Despite its laid-back culture, there is a genuine fizz of creative energy, which can be seen in the constant building work and artistic endeavour across the city, not least in its kitchens. This young city has much to offer everyone, from shopping to skiing, to just sightseeing, plain and simple.

Whistler Mountaineer

Train ride through the Rockies

Stay Editor's Note

Ever dreamed of riding a train through the Rocky Mountains? Well, with the Whistler Mountaineer you can make that dream come true. The train runs on a daily basis between Whistler, the popular ski resort town and Vancouver.

You can either ride the regular train or get a spot in the Glacier Dome, which costs extra but is well worth it. You’ll have a 360° view of the amazing Canadian terrain that the train passes through on it’s way to Whistler or Vancouver.

You can also book a round trip if you don’t want to stay in Whistler. The Whistler Mountaineer is a great way to impress kids who are obsessed with trains, too.
