The only saltwater pool in Vancouver
Kitsilano Pool is one of five outdoor pools in Vancouver, but it also happens to be the only saltwater pool in the city. Indeed, it is one of a very few salt pools in the entire world. The pool is in Kitsilano Park and juts out into the ocean, though the pool itself is separate and heated.
Kitsilano Pool is a draw and fill pool, offering “beach” access with heated water. You get the joy of swimming in the ocean, without the freezing cold that comes with a dip in the Pacific. It’s very kid friendly, as well.
