Home of the masters
Verona’s main Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery is housed inside Palazzo Forti. The gallery was inaugurated in 1982, and since, has organized many important exhibitions dedicated to the most significant artists of the contemporary scene.
Some of the names featured by the Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery include international masters such as Gnoli, Capogrossi , Leoncillo, Degas, Modigliani, Magritte, Picasso, Klee, Kandinsky and many others. There is a permanent collection including works by Fattori, Casorati, Birolli, Hayez, Semeghini, Guidi, Dall'Oca Bianca, Trentini etc.
