One of the most beautiful late renaissance Italian gardens
Giardino Giusti was a favorite of Mozart and Goethe, who praised its cypress-lined path and the garden itself as one of the most beautiful in Veneto. The garden was designed by Agostino Giusti, as a setting for Villa Giusti.
Giardino Giusti is a typical Renaissance garden with a lawn, a wooded hill and terraces with beautiful flowerbeds and hedgerows. Fountains and mythological statues adorn the garden, which also features a maze.
The garden was seriously damaged in World War II. Given its historical importance, the garden was restored to its former beauty in the years following the war, and has been declared a National Monument.
