The preferred place for a Veronese stroll
Piazza Brà is a public square built around mid sixteenth century, when architect Michele Sanmicheli regularized the square to open a vista to the Arena. The square is the site of the traditional fair of Saint Lucy that takes place here every December.
Attractions around Piazza Brà include Palazzo Barbieri, the Ottolini Palace, the Guglienzi-Brognoligo Palace, the Fracasso-Gianfilippi Palace, and, of course, Arena di Verona, the famous Roman amphitheater that is also the symbol of the city.
