Fountain of our Lady Verona
Madonna Verona is a Roman sculpture dating to 380 AD, the most ancient monument at the heart of Piazza delle Erbe, one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. The statue stands atop of a artesian fountain, built during the Scaligeri period, by Cansignorio (1368).
Madonna Verona is the heart of the square, and one of the most photographed monuments here. The fountain is also known as Fountain of our Lady Verona, or simply Fontana di Piazza delle Erbe.
