The cutting edge of experimental music
Now back in a new location after a year’s absence due to construction work, Fluc is rapidly becoming Vienna’s primary venue for cutting-edge and experimental live music. Situated on the edge of the Prater fairground, it’s actually two venues, both of which host regular live events as well as DJs.
The Fluc proper (where entry is always free) is housed in an unprepossessing prefab, while the Fluc-Wanne is an underground space hewn from a former pedestrian subway. These unconventional surroundings are mirrored by Fluc’s adventurous programming spanning avant rock, improv, Japanese noise and laptoppery.
