Warsaw shopping for tourists usually means strolling around Sródmiescie, and finding whatever the local boutiques there have in store. The international labels are well represented, and local fashion designs are often surprisingly trendy. Don’t purchase “labels” on the black market, they are usually fakes. You have to look around for good quality Polish souvenirs like folk art, traditional fabrics, leather goods, ceramics, and woodworking. If you’d rather go mall-shopping, Warsaw has a few such shopping centers, rivaling any other European establishment of the kind.
