The best Tex-Mex in DC
Lauriol Plaza may be DC’s most popular restaurant: even with a capacity for up to 350 diners in its two stories (plus rooftop), the line for a table often spills over on to the sidewalk. Food is reasonably priced Tex-Mex fare. Great service and superb food are this venue’s calling cards.
From Margaritas and salsa, to Mexican staples like enchiladas and fajitas, to specialties from Peru, Cuba and elsewhere, there’s a little of everything for the Latin food fan, and the scene is always jumping.
