Third time's the charm
Open City is an insanely popular Woodley Park eatery and the third establishment from the owners of Tryst and The Diner. It combines upscale diner fare with five-star quality coffee. The huge menu features designer pizzas, excellent burgers, and messy BBQ ribs. Desserts are a step above here too.
Pastry chef Sol Schott’s specialty is the chocolate mascarpone roulade with chocolate hazelnut icing. For unique treats and generally superb dining and atmosphere, Open City is a sure lunch bet.
