Zurich's newest, most exciting district
Zurich’s north end changed forever in 2000 with the arrival of the Neu-Oerlikon on the scene. This is one of the country’s largest ever inner city developments.
Neu-Oerlikon saw the creation of almost 12,000 new jobs, as well as housing for another 5,000 people in the area, which was transformed into one of Zurich’s most exciting new districts.
There are also many cultural institutions, schools and parks in Neu-Oerlikon that offer dozens of exciting recreational opportunities. Here is one place that you will not get bored in easily.
