The capital of the South

Luxury mega-malls, the World of Coca-Cola, and world-class museums are just some of what make Atlanta an attractive travel destination for so many Americans and foreign visitors. Atlanta also offers lesser-known attractions that define the soul of the city, like Victorian buildings and historical landmarks, a rich assortment of skyscrapers, gorgeous parks, and year-round festivals. Atlanta will keep you busy for days, but even those who spend just a few hours here will never forget the pearl of Georgia.

Atlanta Beer Tours

This cavernous restaurant / beer bar is packed on weekend nights so if you want a spot at the bar I’d suggest getting there in the early evening, or try a table by the sidewalk on a nice weekend afternoon. While their list isn’t the most expansive, this East Atlanta Village go-to tends to be one of the few places in town that gets their hands on very unique and sought after beers.

Located in East Atlanta, this cavernous bar is an homage to craft beer and solid bar food done correctly.

Beer and good food Editors' Note

Founded by Ben Rhoades, Donald Durant, and Armando Celetano, Argosy is a local bar and restaurant, offering an excellent selection of draft and bottled beers, as well as cocktails, wines and other drinks.

If you are hungry, Argosy dinner menu features excellent pizza pies, house crafted hot dogs, sandwiches, and creative mains. Mainly designed for meat eaters, the menu does offer vegetarian options and salads.
