The ultimate Spanish holiday

With over 1000 places to eat, gorgeous beaches, and skyscraper architecture, Benidorm may be perceived as a premium summer destination, it is in fact rather affordable, and great for budget traveling. The city features numerous bazaars selling cheap leather, shoes and artisan products, including jewelry, pottery and paintings. For good family fun, check out the family water park Aqualandia, or a boat trip to the Isla de Benidorm wildlife sanctuary. Also don’t miss Altea, 12 km from Benidorm, a stunning original old town.

Enjoy the sea life near Benidorm Island Editors' Note

The sub-aquatic catamaran is one of the most popular attractions of the Benidorm Island. The catamaran has an underwater deck for viewing sea-life. On the island, the nature is still untamed and the only conventional entertainment opportunities are a restaurant and a bar.

The sub-aquatic catamaran runs daily, every hour, and leaves from Benidorm Marina, at the end of the quay. The underwater catamaran ride to Benidorm Island is the most unusual of the boat trips the city has to offer.
