A city of beautifully faded elegance

Panoramically divided by the Danube, Hungary’s capital exudes faded grandeur. Comprised of busy Pest and residential Buda, the Habsburg city of grand boulevards and elegant bridges was built in the late 1800s. With its five-star hotels, spa baths, landmark coffeehouses and key restaurants wonderfully restored, Budapest provides top-notch services. An underground counterculture and savage party scene complete the picture of this cool, modern city.

Not the cheapest one, but very very good.

One of the best Chinese in town Editors' Note

Hong Kong Restaurant is purely Chinese and Taiwanese. Founded in 1990, this may not be the cheapest in Budapest, but it is considered among the best. Specialties include Peking duck, fresh seafood and very spicy dishes.

Despite its name, Hong Kong Restaurant is not focused solely on Chinese and Hong Kong food, but also Taiwan cuisine. Interesting Cantonese specialties at affordable prices, however, the cuisine is not what connoisseurs expect from such a restaurant. Still a good diversion from the local cuisine, if you need any.
