Host of the annual Cannes Film Festival

It hosts one of the most prestigious International film festivals in the world, but Cannes is more than a travel destination for filmophiles. Fashionistas and fun-seekers will find an exclusive city with high-end restaurants, exotic nightlife, luxury boutiques, and designer fashion shops lining La Croisette. Cannes is an amazing experience for the posh traveler, but it attracts history lovers as well, as no other town on the French Riviera has such a dramatic and mysterious past. One example? The famous Man in the Iron Mask was imprisoned on the Ile Sainte-Marguerite, half a mile off shore from the city.

Legend Cafe

A Mexican tavern

A Mexican tavern Editors' Note

The Legend Cafe is a super-cool little place to hang out. Decorated in stone and wood, it has a lovely, warm atmosphere just like what you would expect from a cosy Mexican-style tavern.

The best place to sit at Legend Cafe is out on the covered terrace, where they have seating for more than 100 people. Here, you can sip your delicious cactus cocktails while watching the people of Cannes go about their lives.

They have great grub at Legend Cafe too - all Mexican food like Fajitas, Nachos and so on. Mmmmmm… tasty!
