Host of the annual Cannes Film Festival

It hosts one of the most prestigious International film festivals in the world, but Cannes is more than a travel destination for filmophiles. Fashionistas and fun-seekers will find an exclusive city with high-end restaurants, exotic nightlife, luxury boutiques, and designer fashion shops lining La Croisette. Cannes is an amazing experience for the posh traveler, but it attracts history lovers as well, as no other town on the French Riviera has such a dramatic and mysterious past. One example? The famous Man in the Iron Mask was imprisoned on the Ile Sainte-Marguerite, half a mile off shore from the city.

A little Mexican/Salvadorian restaurant. Sit at one of the handful of tables and watch them make everything fresh. You’ll not find any crispy taco here. Owners cook and wait on the tables. Friendly and delicious.

Traditional French cuisine Editors' Note

La Brouette de Grand-Mère is a typical local restaurant, serving traditional home-cooked meals based on fresh, local products, in a retro setting.

La Brouette de Grand-Mère counts on 30 years of tradition, and is a favorite with both locals and tourists. The menus change monthly.
