See Dublin through the eyes of a proud Dubliner

There are many sides to Dublin and even if you’re visiting for only a few days, you’ll probably see them all. Because of the city’s compact size, prosperity and poverty live side by side, especially around the north inner city. However, most Dubliners take a real pride in their city. With good reason, too, as it has so much to offer, from great shopping to world-class galleries and museums. And, ofcourse, a fantastic pub scene.

Go back in time to medieval Dublin Editors' Note

Dublinia is an interactive exhibition exploring medieval Dublin, located right beside Christchurch Cathedral in the Viking heart of the old city. Find out what it was like in Dublin between the 12th and 16th centuries and experience the sights, sounds and smells of the bustling city.

Key exhibits include the well-preserved skeleton of a woman who lived in Dublin in the 12th century and recreations of a busy medieval market and a rich merchant’s house.
