The Bismarck Museum is situated outside Hamburg amid the beautiful Saxon Forest in Friedrichsruh. This is where Germany’s most revered sovereign once ruled. Visitors to the site can view historic photos and manuscripts, and get an feel for the import of Bismarck at a crucial time in German history.

A visit to the Bismarck Museum should ideally include a walk within the forest as well as a stop off at one of the many fine restaurants in the area. You can also visit Bismark’s mausoleum in the woods nearby.
